Tickets selling fast for Langtree Park opening night

SAINTS have sold more than 14,000 tickets for Langtree Park’s grand opening game against Salford on Friday night.

The capacity is being set at 17,000 – 1,000 less than the 18,000 the stadium is capable of holding – for health and safety reasons.

Saints bosses expect the fixture will sell out, with the buzz of excitement sweeping through the town about the new arena expected to grow throughout this week.

With the Widnes friendly having shown the desire for spectators to stand, Langtree Park chiefs have decided to reserve the East Stand terrace to accommodate demand. The West Stand is already sold out.

Legendary South African winger Tom van Vollenhoven will lead out the Saints players for what promises to be an iconic night in the town’s sporting history.

Tickets are available from Langtree Park, by calling 01744 455 050 or by logging on to www.saintssuperstore.com
