10:00am Friday 27th January 2012
A WOMAN who illegally claimed £11,313 in benefits has been warned to keep out of trouble for 12 months after being placed on a supervision order.
Caroline Simm, 44, of Brunswick Street, Parr, appeared at Knowsley Magistrates’ Court, where she admitted failing to tell St Helens Council and the Department for Work and Pensions she was living with her husband between November 1, 2009 and March 14, 2011.
This resulted in her being paid £11,313.
Simm was ordered to pay back the full amount and £150 costs.
